Valslide Review

I normally don't write reviews for products unless I'm disappointed with a purchase plus there's so much fitness junk out there today why waste your hard earned money. But when I saw the Valside on Amazon I had to write a comment. The Valside is a great fitness product to have in your toolbox.I'm a Personal Trainer who loves the Valslide. I first discovered the Valslide for myself, I was coming off knee surgery and re-hab and I was trying to get back in shape for hockey. I had previously used a slide board for training, but they took up too much space and didn't travel well.I next tried Furniture sliders, but they didn't slide that well and my foot was a little too big for it. I knew I wasn't ready for traditional exercises like front lunges and squats because my knee wasn't yet strong enough, so I purchased a pair of Valslides, boy was I impressed. Not only did I get my strength back quickly, I realized they weren't just for women. There's a ton of great exercises you can do with the Valside and you get a great full-body workout.That was several years ago, fast forward to today. Valsides are still a big part of my training. My clients use them constantly and most now have their own pair to work out at home. For the money you can't beat the Valside, you won't be disappointed.

Gabrialla Maternity Support Girdle-Panty with Adjustable Band (light support) Review

I started using this in my 6th month of pregnancy. I definitely liked the pelvic support and felt more energized wearing it. However, the velco straps in the back would dig in after a few hours, so I would tuck a camisole in under the girdle. I have thick thighs, and the lace at the bottom would dig in too, so I would use an extra long camisole. As far as pregnancy girdles go, this is probably one of the more comfortable ones, and does provide good support, but does need probably looser elastic at the thigh and better lining.

Valeo Body Ball Review

I loved this ball, until it burst.I loved its large diameter, its smart orange skin, the way it filled so quickly with air.But five months after I first pumped life into the ball, in the middle of a workout, I heard a slow, sad whisper from above my ear.One of the ribs had snagged and torn on my clean-clipped fingernail!I considered purchasing another, but after some thought, my next ball should probably be one with thicker skin.

DynaMax Pro Trainer 12086PC Core Strengthening System Review

I got this for Christmas this year and was very excited as I have the smaller version and it has been a great tool for years.I began using it right away and have used it every day with a noticable improvement in arm definition.Unfortunately when I picked it up today and pressed the button on the end to get it started it made a terrible rattling sound and failed to spin up properly.It appears that the rubber wheel on the little motor that spins the gyro up to speed has shifted and is no longer contacting the inner surface properly.I have contacted the company for service/replacement.I will revise my rating depending on the service I get.Stay Tuned!
*Update*
Well I called the company and they seemed more interested in not being responsible for the repair then being helpful with the return/information relating to the problem.I'm guessing this design is not working so well for them as they are apparently making a new version that is manual start (like the smaller hand version).I'm guessing that the little electric start up motor/mounting is not up to the vibrations this creates during use.I'm plan to wait till the new version comes out and getting on of those.
