First, I bought the ab belt for my daughters and me for Christmas.I was skeptical, but lo and behold, they work!Next came the arms system, and we like it, too.I bought this product because I felt that the tightening effect would feel good on my lower back and hips, after being on my feet all day at work.Once I can get it on, it is a great massage.The design, however, is bulky, and not easy to get in place.The gel pads keep sticking to other parts of the "skirt", and my body, while I'm trying to get it in place.By the time I'm done fighting with it, and making sure the pads have stayed in place on the unit, and are positioned on my body where I want them, I feel that it's just not worth it.I do think it probably works, because it does have a strong pulse, but it's poorly designed, unless you have someone to help you get it on.The extra wear and tear on the pads is a bummer, too, because they are expensive.All of the Slendertone replacement pads are expensive.It's like buying that reasonably priced printer, then paying up the wazoo for ink cartridges!!
